My name is Louis Di Meglio. I am a native New Yorker and was born and raised in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, though I currently call Crown Heights home. I consider myself a life-long learner, enjoy the company of others and making things happen.

I’ve studied at Adelphi University, Brooklyn College, Indiana University-Bloomington for a summer, as well as abroad in China. I have traveled to different parts of Europe, including Italy, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria and Montenegro, among others.

For a time, I was a ‘cellist, performing in some of the greatest venues of New York City (practice, practice, practicing helped). Now, I leave the ‘cello to my sister, Maria, who is part of Harpeth Rising. I can’t say enough great things about their newest album, Shifted. I suggest you check it out.

We both attended Bay Academy, LaGuardia H.S., as well as Inter-School Orchestras of New York and the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College. She is the reason I was in Indiana’s Jacob School of Music for a summer, since she was there for her college education.

I teamed up with long-time friend Stan Bogdanov in founding the firm Boglio, an IT consulting firm that specializes in ed-tech and web development solutions for our clients. It’s fun to help people bring their ideas to life, and even more fun when you get to work with a friend.

I am a proud member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. You can learn more about my involvement here.
